Contest Entry

The Way of Saim-Hann blog is having a painting contest.  You need to paint up a Farseer or Autarch on a jetbike.  The winner gets an Eldar Battleforce box!  This sounded like the perfect excuse to paint up an idea I've had for a while -- an Exodite Autarch on a flying dragon.  Don't know if I'm going to win, but it was fun painting it up.

    I really liked your entry!  There were so many excellent models, that it was difficult to vote for a favorite.

    Sadly, I think the biggest obstacle that you faced was that most people are not familiar (or have even heard of) the Exodites.  They are another aspect of GW's past that has seemingly been swept under the rug.

    Cheers to your models.  It would be really great to see an army of Exodite raiders on the table.  Is there any chance that we'll see one from you?

    My long term goal would be to have a full Exodite army.  I already have conversion ideas for how to handle Exodite vypers and the like.  However, I think it's any army that I will be adding to here and there over time rather than trying to finish all at once.  At least, this will be the case for a while as my primary focus right now is space marines.  Still, the exodites are too cool for me to not work on them in the future.
