The final piece of our offerings for Origins this year is in place -- An official Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader Tournament. You can see its Games Workshop listing here.
The tournament will use the standard Rogue Trader rules for 40K (here) and takes place starting at 9:00am on the 27th of June, a Saturday. The tournament will be 1750 points, include three rounds, and last the whole (single) day. Official GW produced trophies/certicates will go to the winners (along with any other prizes that might get donated to our efforts). One caveat -- there are only 24 spots available, so if you want to go down as the winner of the first (hopefully) annual Origins RTT be sure to sign up early and often. There will be a cost to get in, naturally, but I can't tell you yet what it is (I put down $10 per person to cover my expenses, but there is a chance that Origins may add something to the total for their own purposes).
So, this means now that 40K Space Hulk is on Thursday, the World's Largest Apocalypse Game on Friday, and finally the official Origins 40K Rogue Trader Tournament on Saturday. If you want to enjoy Warhammer 40K this year, Origins will be a good place to visit!
