Daemons vs Boom

Posted by Ranillon on 7. February 2009 22:45

Continuing with my ruminations concerning Chaos Daemons I present a little number crunching I did on just how tough the common units you might find in a Daemon army really are.  The fact that they all have invulnerable saves made the math easier.

Percent Chance that Given Model Will Be Take a Wound Per Strength X Hit (Rounded Off)

Model Strength:
3 4 5 6 7+
Slaanesh:
Fiend 22% 33% 44% 56% 56%
Daemonette 33% 44% 56% 56% 56%
Seekers 33% 44% 56% 56% 56%
Khorne:
Bloodcrusher 11% 22% 33% 44% 56%
Bloodletters 22% 33% 44% 56% 56%
Hounds 22% 33% 44% 56% 56%
Tzeentch:
Flamers 17% 25% 33% 42% 42%
Horrors 25% 33% 42% 42% 42%
Screamers 17% 25% 33% 42% 42%
Nurgle:
Beast 5% 11% 16% 22% 28%
Plaguebearer 5% 11% 16% 22% 28%
Nurglings 33% 44% 56% 56% 56%

This really just validates my previous musings, but now it's in a more definitive form.  Interesting conclusions include how Tzeentch tops out at 42% and just how fantastically tough Nurgle really is (save for Nurglings who really do apparently feel pain).
